Write Reviews to Raise Your Book’s Visibility
When readers search for books, they explore a number of titles within their genre or subject-matter of interest. Make sure these people discover your book during their search. Write reviews of books that are similar to your own. At the end of each review, identify yourself as “author of [your book’s title].” People often read more than one book for a given subject or genre, so by writing reviews for books that are similar to yours you are ensuring that people in your target market also learn about you and your book. Remember to keep the reviews positive since this will be your opportunity to make a first impression. To get started, visit Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble.com, and other online bookstores and click the link that lets you write your own review online.
